Balloon Ride Flying Weather UpDate for the Weekend and Early Next Week

Friday, July 10th, 2009

Flying weather for hot air balloon rides looks good for tonight on Friday, the Saturday AM flight and Sunday PM. A cold front will pass through the area and affect our flying weather on Saturday afternoon into the overnight and into Sunday morning. Sunday afternoon’s balloon flying weather should improve into early Monday, then a chance of rain showers on Monday into Monday night to be followed by high pressure building in for our Tuesday flights into Wednesday before another system may impact our flying weather on Thursday. We have space available on our Sunday PM flight, plus a number of spaces available on our flights during the coming week. Give us a call to reserve your spot.

Flying Weather for Balloon Rides Week of July 6 -12

Monday, July 6th, 2009

This week’s flying weather brings the usual for this balloon ride season, a mixed bag. After a beautiful start on Monday morning, weather turns to chance of rain and storms by the afternoon with continuing periods of rain through  the early part of Wednesday. Weather improves possibly by late Wednesday, and is nice for flying Thursday through at least some, if not all of Saturday. Another weather system is forecast to pass through overnight Saturday with improving weather later on Sunday. Check back for weather updates as they become available as the week progresses. We have plenty of space available for our hot air balloon rides this week so give a call to reserve your space.

Update to 4th of July Holiday Weekend Balloon Ride Flying Weather

Thursday, July 2nd, 2009

Currently it is looking like our flying weather should improve by Sunday, and just maybe Saturday. We do have some limited space still available on our flights. Balloon flying weather also looks good going into the upcoming week to give us some additional opportunities to do some hot air balloon rides. So give us a call to schedule a flight in the beautiful Lake George area.
