Recent Hot Air Balloon Ride

Sunday, May 19th, 2013

Saturday was a beautiful day for going on an Adirondack hot air balloon ride. On my Saturday PM balloon flight, I had a proposal by a young couple from the Hamilton, Ontario Canada area.

Tanya and Jeremy

Airborne over the Argyle, Washington County area.

The proposal begins.

The question?

On goes the ring.

The ring!

Balloon Ride Weather Forecast for Weekend and early next Week

Friday, May 3rd, 2013

Our weather continues to be beautiful for outdoor activity, including going on a hot air balloon ride. The National Weather Service forecast for the Lake George, Saratoga Springs, Albany – The Capital District region, continues to be dry, under the influence of a blocking high pressure area, parked over the northeastern part of the United States. If anyone is interested in going on a balloon ride during a pretty time of spring, now is your opportunity – we have space available on most flights right through next week. So, give us a call @ 518-793-6342 and/or check out our web site, and fill-out the reservation form to book your balloon flight.

New York Post Article

Tuesday, September 25th, 2012

Recently, I flew the New York Post’s theater columnist/critic, Michael Riedel, and a Post photographer, Alexander Michael. Michael was doing an article on fall things to do that appeared this past Saturday in the Post’s Pulse section. Click the link to read Michael’s article that featured his hot air balloon ride with us. It was a fun experience working with Michael and Alex. Here are some of the photos from the morning flight with Michael Riedel and Alexander Michael.

Alex’s pic of the Post’s Michael Riedel holding the test balloon that will show us our direction of travel for our morning flight. Michael has a funny take on this in the article.
