A Private Group Flight requires
a minimum reservation of 3 passengers. We can accommodate 4 passengers depending on size of passengers coming.
Individual passenger weight and space restrictions apply on
all hot air balloon rides. All major credit
and debit cards are
accepted. Rates are subject to change.
Your price includes:
- Approximately one-hour balloon ride over
our scenic Adirondack countryside, looking out over historic towns
and villages in the Lake George, Saratoga, Wilton and rural
Washington County areas.
- Digital pictures of your memorable balloon ride experience; Photos will be posted online
usually within 24 hours of your flight. Visit our Recent Flight Photos page for a preview (check it out; just click on a highlighted calendar date).
- The opportunity for a hands-on experience -
help the ground crew
with the hot air balloon. Or, you can just stand back to enjoy the process of making ready and inflating your hot air balloon.
- Complimentary refreshments including a champagne toast
are served during the balloon flight. I will even fix you a
mimosa to enjoy while on your morning flight with us.
- Meeting/pick-up point is at Exit 19, I-87
Queensbury/Glens Falls. We provide
ground transportation from our pick-up point out to the balloon flight area, and we will return about 3 hours later to your vehicle at Exit 19.

Please have an alternate date in mind in
case your first choice is full. Bookings are confirmed
with either a credit/debit card guarantee, or a 50% cash/check
deposit. Your full payment is due the day of your
balloon ride. When
making your reservation,
be prepared to give the height and weight
of each passenger. We need this information for flight
planning purposes for this type of aircraft. The maximum
individual passenger weight we can accommodate is around 265 lbs. due to the
weight and space restrictions of this type of aircraft. Reservations are accepted by phone on the day of a balloon flight with a credit
or debit card guarantee if space is available.
Your balloon ride is very much a weather dependent activity. Your pilot reserves the right to cancel or shorten any balloon flight due to weather, flight conditions, or for any safety issue in the pilot's professional judgment.
Wind, especially in the afternoon, can delay and shorten the
flight due to sunset. We reserve the right to decline a passenger if
size, health, physical infirmity or general deportment impede the operation or the enjoyment
or safety of other passengers. Anyone intoxicated will be denied participation. Passengers with health considerations accept the responsibility to consult a medical professional before going on our balloon ride.
Failure to report accurate passenger weight could result in
denied boarding and cancellation of your reservation without
refund.
As with any adventure activity, there is risk associated with
a balloon flight. Passengers sign an acknowledgment of risk and release of liability.
Gift Certificate Orders
You can order by phone.
Cancellations and Refund Policy
Cancellations by you within 14 days of scheduled flight will
be charged 50% of total due. However, if we are able to
resell your space, there will be no charge due.
No-shows, or if you're late and missed the pick-up, and cancellations
by you within 24 hours of your balloon flight, you will be charged the
full amount due. A reschedule of the balloon ride will require a
new reservation.
As mentioned above, ballooning is very much
weather dependent. Please call-in at the required time to
check your flight weather. If we cancel your
flight at the call-in time, or in advance, there is no charge. But,
if we (your pilot and crew) meet and drive you
out to the flight area, and we find unsuitable conditions that
then cancels the flight, a service
fee of 15% will be charged or deducted from any refund due. On
reservations made with a Gift Certificate, this service charge
is due in addition to any Gift Certificate refund fee. The
service fee can be applied toward a reschedule of your flight.
